In Soviet Russia, Pâté Makes You - Pathfinder2e: Blood Lords - Zombie Feast

Here’s who’s playing: Lio, as Ubumeko, the cleric Kat, as Tyriathena Thael (or Tiri), the champion Powder, as Sparks Fizzlebottom, the alchemist After getting surprisingly deep into Pathfinder 2e’s Blood Lords Adventure Path (thanks, Humble Bundle), my D&D (and future Starfinder) group is back with Episode 4! This session includes everything you’d expect from a farm visit in Geb: undead cows, zombified horses, and a bunch of players failing to follow instructions. Sparks reveals his “Sparks Notes,” and experiments with talking like a serial killer, and Tiri confirms that skeletons are, in fact, snackable. It’s an unholy mix of combat, comedy, and chaotic teamwork. We’re still on track to run 2–3 more Blood Lords episodes before switching gears to a converted Spelljammer 2e module (Wildspace, SJA1) in 5e. Editing these is getting slightly less painful each week. I like listening to my group, and I hope you will too.

Harm Spells mean Harm Spells - Pathfinder2e: Blood Lords - Zombie Feast

In this session of The Crit Spot, we embark on our first adventure in a brand new (to us) campaign! Lio, Kat, and Powder, led by their GM Fyve, dive into the darkly intriguing world of Geb. The session begins with a combat against a formidable undead cow, perfect for learning the ropes and causing some chaos. With critical hits, some heroics, and a few fumbles, we pulled through before diving into the main story. Our journey takes us to the city of Greydirge, where we meet the Blood Lord Berlina. Tasked with investigating a series of zombie incidents at nearby farms, the party set their sights on the next leg of our adventure. We’ve also got some fun “behind the scenes” moments for you, including chatter about recording setups, virtual tabletop quirks, and a few laughs about cats and character antics. Join us as we kick off this exciting new campaign combat, intrigue, and undead shenanigans await!

The Wrath of Mao - Starfinder 2e Playtest: It Came from the Vast

In this session of The Crit Spot, our crew dives into the eerie and exciting Starfinder Playtest module, “It Came from the Vast!”. Join J, Lio, Powder, and Trij as they continue to explore the derelict Xenowarden starship Bloom. With the ship hurtling out of control and strange biomechanical corridors ahead, the team faces haunting mysteries and a deadly alien threat. This is the second part of the play session, apologies but the first part was lost in a galactic black hole fumble.

Rock and Leaf - Starfinder 2e Playtest: Shards of the Glass Planet

Welcome to our first Starfinder 2e session! I had a great time diving into this new system and exploring what it has to offer. In this episode, we begin Shards of the Glass Planet, the first scenario in the Starfinder Second Edition Playtest. The energy shield encasing the mysterious planet Birnam’s Bubble is breaking down, and the clock is ticking to uncover its ancient secrets. Tasked by the Church of Weydan, we’ll explore crumbling ruins, confront rogue drones, and piece together long-lost mysteries. This scenario is packed with exploration, danger, and discovery! Trij plays Iseph, the Android Operative, Powder plays the Vesk Soldier Obozaya and ChkChk, the Shirren Mystic is played by Lio.
